Check Out the Erie Canal Artifacts at Town Hall in Greenfield: A Travelling Exhibit for the Bicentennial

As part of the Erie Canal bicentennial celebration, the Saratoga County Historian’s office has a traveling display to share with each town within the county. Greenfield is the first town to have this display and it is in our Town Hall lobby from April 7 to April 21. The display contains a showcase with artifacts and photos of the canal and a large 7′ x 3′ freestanding banner with the canal’s history from its construction to its role today.

You are welcome to stop by and visit the display. Town Hall hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
